People riding on unauthorised trails in Meroo National Park are advised by the authorities that such activities are not allowed.
The construction and use of unauthorised trails for trail bikes and bicycles in Meroo National Park have come to the attention of the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service advises that these activities constitute an offence under the Nationals Parks and Wildlife Regulations, 2009, and incurs an on the spot fine of $300.
Trail bikes must be registered and are permitted on public vehicle access roads only.

NPWS are conducting works to rehabilitate and regenerate unauthorised trails in Meroo National Park over the coming weeks.
Please be advised that staff and equipment will be present in the area and use of unauthorised trails is dangerous and detrimental to the environment.
