Competing clubs will be coming from far and wide and spectators are welcome to come and enjoy some top competition.
There will not be any normal dog obedience classes held on the Sunday because of this event, club members are welcome to give a hand in running the day.
Advanced agility classes are held from 10am to 11am after obedience training on the first and third Sunday in the month unless there is a special event scheduled.
Baby puppies class is now being held in the puppy ring not the agility ring at 9am.
Dogs that can work off lead and are experienced in agility can be at the agility ring from 7.30am to 8.45am for agility and their names are to be put on the list at the new members table as they arrive.
You need to walk the course at either 7.30am or 8.15am and need to be out of the ring by 8.45am.
Unfortunately if there are too many participants at 8.15am those who come last will miss out.
Beginners agility will resume in October.
The next new members day is September 7.
Dogs four months and older are only able to join on the first Sunday of the month as there is a special four week quick start program to introduce dogs to clicker training.
Baby puppies from eight-weeks-old can join at any time but owners are to check with their vet to be sure their dogs are immunised before associating with other dogs.
Current dog club members are also asked to bring proof of their dog’s immunisation when they have been updated.
The new members table is situated next to the agility ring, and the $2 class fees can be paid there.
If you wish to pay in advance for as many weeks as you like to save time when arriving at dog training of a Sunday just see Tracey or Margaret.
Dog owners are reminded that they should carry a plastic bag to pick up after their dogs.
The club sells all the equipment you might need - liver treats, plastic bags, dog collars, leads, dog dummies and flags, and club also has a limited number of restraints that click into the seat belt and some small, medium and large harnesses available for members to purchase.
People are asked not to take their dogs to the clubhouse when paying as it gets quite congested there.
Either tie them to the agility ring fence or leave them in the car with windows open.
Membership forms can be downloaded from the club’s website, info@mudtc.org.au.
Financial members may ask permission to use the club’s Facebook site.
Congratulations to the following dog owners who have graduated:

In case of rain and it is decided to cancel dog training, members are notified as early as possible by email.
Cancellations are also announced over Radio 2ST and Facebook.
A big thank you to club president Rosie, assistant secretary Janet Smith, assistant chief instructor Jenny Patch, equipment officer Mark Wilden and Warwick Taylor for giving their time to lay mulch in the new dog playground at the far south-western area of Milton Showground.
