The Ulladulla and Districts War Widows Guild were lucky enough to catch a break in the chill for a June outing.
The group travelled to Jamberoo for morning tea at a great little cake shop then across Saddleback Mountain with views that were spectacular to Kiama. It was then onto Gerroa Fisherman’s Club for Lunch. The club overlooks Seven Mile Beach. If have not been over Saddleback Mountain you should put it on your bucket list.
John Brett from Jervis Bay Hearing was the guest speaker for our June meeting and gave a very informative talk about hearing loss and the types of hearing aids.
If you see a person with a white cane or a dog in harness you know they are sight impaired in the same way a person with a walker or who has a walking stick, you know they mobility is not the best.

The guest speaker for the day will be Margaret Reeves from the St John’s Ambulance Service. Please remember to bring your payment for the birthday lunch to this meeting. This month we had a members turn 70, 80 and 90. Afternoon tea will be served after the meeting.
Our August meeting is the 17th Birthday Luncheon at St Isadore’s Croobyar Road Milton on August 25, 2016, at noon for 12.30pm start.
