At the annual general meeting on August 8, new members were warmly welcomed and congratulated.

John Sparks was named as president and Ron Smith as vice president. Elizabeth Nowosad was elected as secretary, Rita Newman as treasurer, Marg Magnusson as librarian, Christine Moss as assistant librarian, Graham Ledwige as research officer, Lola Davis as activities officer, Julie Gullan as editor and publicity officer and Pamela Johnson as welfare officer. 

An award presentation was also held at the meeting, where new life memberships were announced.  

Life memberships were awarded to Margaret Hope, Meg Hammond and Val Williams for giving generously of their time, dedication and contributions over many years. 

Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to Marilyn Boyd, Julie Gullan, Leslie Harrison, Elaine Holloway, Lynette Johnson, Lorelle Lee, Margaret Magnusson, Christine Moss, Ron Smith, John Sparks, Gail Stewart and Cheryl Stokes. 

These members received certificates for the time, support and effort they have dedicated to the Family History Society. 

The Milton Ulladulla Family History Society is open to the public on Monday and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm and Saturday from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
